Botulinum toxin treatment Botox ® Like many medications, Botulinum toxin is developed from a protein that occurs in nature. The FDA has approved Botulinum toxin treatment for specific indications.

 

It’s been on the market for over two decades and has been used to treat neurological disorders that cause muscle spasms, the treatment of migraines and other medical conditions.

 

Botox is primarily used to treat dynamic wrinkles such as those in the upper face: vertical frown “eleven” lines between eyebrows, “crow’s feet” lines at the corners of the eyes and lines on the forehead.

How does Botox work?

Will I have a frozen face after Botox? 

​

No, you won't unless this is what you desire! We'll inject an appropriate amount to the required areas, so your face will look fresh, rested and relaxed, but not 'done' (unless you want that kind of look).

 

When will I see the results?

You will notice the significant visible results anywhere from 5-14 days after your treatment and these will last for up to 12 weeks, however, for some people Botox lasts for almost 5 months!
